We remember. Somewhere in us, in our ancient place of Knowing, we follow the Sacred Wheel of Time. This Workshop will focus on Imbolc, the cross – quarter day six weeks after the Winter Solstice, and six weeks before the Spring Equinox. In this time of “in betwix “ and “in between” the veil is thin, we ask for Divine Guidance and Inspiration. We will learn the significance of this agricultural/spiritual calendar, the corresponding dates, and the relationship to other agricultural calendars, especially Mayan, Egyptian, and Greek. We will re – familiarize ourselves with the Goddess Brigit, the guardian of the springs and rivers, the protector of the hearth and home, with a meditation ceremony using candles to signify the coming of the Light Bearer, the the Blessings she brings, it is the Quickening.

Traditional education usually speaks just to our minds. Our purpose is to present a more holistic approach to learning about ourselves with spiritual experiential learning. Through these ancient techniques – when we can ignore our mind’s (ego) chatter – we begin to hear another voice, the voice of our intuition. We are able to gain a new viewpoint of ourselves. We move into a place where our gifts present themselves to us and we are able to accept them.

This year, after a review of the Mayan Calendar, we will share experiences and discover the opportunities for spiritual growth that have been presented to us. Through the Radiance Practice, based on the Mayan Calendar, we will recognize the soul lessons we came here, to earth, to learn in this lifetime. Join us in this powerful healing – not just for ourselves, but for the whole of humanity and our beloved Mother Earth.
